“This makes me feel skinny”

Nothing special about this outfit other than I felt so comfortable. I always hear bigger people say when they try on things “Ahhh this makes me feel fat”. Yet when I try on something and say “This makes me feel skinny”, I get told to “Shut up!” haha But it’s trueee. Just like some clothes make bigger people feel fat, there are clothes out there that make skinny people feel too skinny!!

I’ve been having a hard time with clothes because we can’t go to our local thrift stores, because our city is on high alert right now, so we’ve had to stay away from them for now. I’m so bummed.Anyway, I’d rather wear clothes that make me feel just right. That’s how this outfit felt for me. The shirt wasn’t too big or too tight. The skirt felt flowy. I just felt VERY COMFORTABLE today. I’ve been trying to have less clothes, but ones that I really like. Even if I have to wear them more than once in a week. I also got a trim awhile back for the first time in almost 2 years. Wow. I waited too long. It’s just I have a hard time trusting anyone with my hair. Which sounds pathetic since I can’t even be trusted with my hair and I’m not a professional. Years ago I had a lady that used to cut my hair. She was the BEST. She went abroad and ever since then I haven’t found anyone who cuts it the way I like. So I just stopped getting it cut. I realize though that I need to get a trim more often and take better care of my hair. I’ve been trying not to use so much heat on it too lately. I have naturally curly hair, so it’s not to hard for me to do that.Also today was chaotttic. I woke up way too late…ran around like a crazy maniac…spilt water all over Lukes outfit, but didn’t change him because of the time + i figured the sun would dry it out anyway ha! I have learned a few things though these last few months about how to have a more relaxed Sunday morning with a kid now, that I’ll share soon.
